Das consequências da política ideológica da Administração G.W.Bush,a mais grave pode ser um novo "sindroma do Vietnam" com um espírito de derrotismo e pacifismo militantes instalado na "grande potência"ocidental,transformada num "tigre de papel".Com os "gatos gordos" e domesticados europeus,será caso para perguntar quem nos vai defender?
Ao menos a guerra do Vietnam tinha algum sentido no quadro da Guerra Fria e de defender o governo anti-comunista e aliado de Saigão e o Vietnam do Sul.E a oposição à guerra gerou uma música e uma poesia também com algum sentido e qualidade.Como este poema musicado de Bruce Springsteen:
